教父指在基督教洗禮等儀式中，由父母為孩子選擇的男性監護人，負責指導孩子的宗教或道德成長。「教父」亦可指黑幫組織的權威領袖，來自著名電影《教父》。在口語中也作「乾爹」，泛指親近但無血緣的男性長輩。
