Definition

地球儀は地球を立体的にあらわした模型です。また、一般的に真ん丸い物にも使われます。

「地球儀」は地球モデルが一般的な意味ですが、文脈によっては丸いものにも使います。「around the globe」は「世界中」を表します。「バルーン」や「惑星」とは違います。

We have a globe in our classroom.
