大きな喜びや興奮を感じて、思わず表に出てしまう嬉しさ。時にいたずらっぽさを含むこともある。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
'with glee' は「はしゃぎながら」「嬉しそうに」という場面で使われます。控えめな喜びにはあまり用いず、表に出るような強い嬉しさや悪戯っぽい場面に合います。
