Definition

“Girlfriend” 指某人正在谈恋爱或约会关系中的女性。有时也可以指女性朋友，但多数情况下专指恋爱对象。

英文中的 ‘girlfriend’ 多指恋爱中的女朋友；女性互称亲密朋友有时也用，但人们主要会理解为情侣关系。不要简单地用来指普通女性朋友（此时用 female friend 比较合适）。
