幽霊（ゆうれい）

परिभाषा

幽霊は、物語や信仰、文化の中で語られる死んだ人の魂です。たいてい見えない存在や、不思議な姿で登場し、心霊スポットに現れるとされています。

主に怪談、ホラー、またはハロウィンの文脈で使われます。「ghost story」は「怪談」、「haunted house」は「お化け屋敷」など。スラングの「ghostする」（無視する）とは意味が異なります。
