Genellikle üçüncü tekil şahıs (o) için kullanılır. 'gathers information', 'gathers people', 'gathers around' gibi ifadelerde geçer. 'collects' (sadece nesneler için) ve 'meets' (sadece insanlar için) ile karıştırmayın.
