Definition

Gate 是某個地方入口處可以開關的門，例如院子、學校或公園的大門。在旅行情境中，它也指機場裡乘客等候登機的登機口區域。

Usage Notes (Chinese (Traditional))

表示實體入口時，常見搭配有 'open the gate'、'close the gate'、'go through the gate'。在機場裡常說 'boarding gate'，也可以直接說 'gate 12'。不要和普通室內門 'door' 混淆。
