Definition

裂傷とは、鋭利なものでできた長くて深い切り傷のことです。物や人以外にも、木や布などの深い切れ目にも使います。

主に事故やケガでできる深刻な傷に使われ、小さな切り傷には使いません。物にも使えます。'a deep gash'は「深い切り傷」という意味です。
