Definition

庭とは、花や植物、野菜などを育てるための土地のことです。家のそばの小さな場所や、散歩やくつろぎのための広い公園も含まれます。

主に自宅の前や裏のスペースを指しますが、公園など広い敷地の意味もあります。'家庭菜園'は特に野菜を育てる場合に使います。
