若者を中心とした集団で、しばしば違法行為や犯罪に関わるグループ。主にストリートギャングを指す。

警察やメディアではほとんどが犯罪集団を指す。話し言葉で仲間のグループとして使うこともあるが、'グループ'や'チーム'より否定的なニュアンス。
