Definition

Gang 指一羣經常在一起的人或一起行動的人。它常指有組織的犯罪團夥，但在非正式英語中也可以指一羣朋友。

在新聞或嚴肅語境中，gang 通常首先讓人想到犯罪含義，如 'a street gang'、'a gang member'。在口語裡，'the whole gang' 也可以輕鬆地表示「一大羣朋友／家人」。要注意：把普通羣體叫作 gang 有時顯得幽默隨意，但有些場合會帶一點負面或粗魯的感覺。
