Definition

ギャラリーは、芸術作品やその他の品物が一般公開される場所です。主に美術館を指しますが、劇場の上階席などを指すこともあります。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

一般的には美術品の展示場を指すが、劇場の上階席なども含む場合がある。「art galleries」は「美術館・アートギャラリー」を指すことが多い。スマホの写真フォルダとは異なる。
