當空氣很冷時，物體表面形成的一層薄冰；有時也指極寒天氣，或為食物加糖霜的過程。

常用於天氣預報、園藝與烘焙；既可作名詞，也可作動詞，如'bake a cake and frost it'（為蛋糕加糖霜）。不要和'freeze'（結冰）、'snow'（下雪）混淆。
