Definition

大きなものから割れてできた小さな部分や、文章・考えなどの不完全な一部を指します。

物体の破片や、文やアイディアの一部分など抽象的にも使います。“fragments of glass”は「ガラスの破片」を意味します。“scraps”とは区別してください。

The vase broke into many fragments.
