Definition
兵士が敵の攻撃から身を守るために地面に掘る小さな穴や塹壕のこと。通常、一人用の簡易的なものを指す。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
主に軍事用語で、臨時で一人用の避難用に使われます。日常では比喩的に「身を隠す場所」「逃げ場」としても使われることがあります。動物の巣穴とは異なります。
