Un fort es una construcción fuerte o un conjunto de edificios hechos para proteger a personas, soldados o un lugar importante de un ataque. Normalmente se usa con fines de defensa militar.
Usage Notes (Spanish)
Se usa sobre todo en contextos militares o históricos. 'Fort' suele ser más pequeño o más específico que 'castle' y se centra en la defensa, no en la residencia de la realeza. Combinaciones comunes: 'army fort', 'stone fort' y 'build a fort'. En el habla cotidiana, los niños también pueden 'build a fort' con mantas o cajas en casa.
