誰かに嫌なことを無理やりさせたり、力や圧力で物事を起こしたりすること。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

強制は多くの場合、否定的な場面や、権力・圧力による行動で使われます。物理的な動作には使わず、『pushing』『pulling』で表します。『forcing a smile』は無理に笑うという意味です。
