誰かや何かが好きで、とても愛着や親しみを感じている状態。やさしい気持ちや態度も表します。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
'fond of + 名詞/動詞ing'という形で使うのが一般的です（例：'fond of music', 'fond of reading'）。やや温かみや懐かしさを感じさせる言葉です。'fond for'とは言いません。
