「follow」の過去形。誰かの後をついて行ったり、指示や話の流れを理解した時などに使います。

実際について行く場合と、指示を守る・話についていく場合など、具体・抽象どちらの使い方も多いです。'follow instructions', 'follow the story' など決まった使い方に注意しましょう。
