人たち両親

Definition

一般の人々や自分の両親を親しみやすく呼ぶ言い方です。グループを呼びかける時や家族の話にも使います。

「folks」はかなりカジュアルな表現です。'Hey, folks!'はグループ呼びかけ、「my folks」は自分の両親。フォーマルな文では使いません。

My folks are coming to visit this weekend.

私の**両親**が今週末に訪ねてきます。
