Definition

指靠近地面的空氣中有很多細小水滴，導致看不清前方的天氣現象。它也可作動詞，表示某物表面起霧或被霧氣覆蓋。

Usage Notes (Chinese (Traditional))

通常作不可數名詞，常說 'thick fog'、'a patch of fog'，一般不說 'a fogs'。常見搭配有 'dense fog'、'foggy morning'、'fog rolled in'。作動詞時，'fog up' 常用於窗戶、眼鏡等起霧。不要和 'mist' 混淆，後者通常更輕、更薄。
