Definition

কোনো কিছুর ছোট, পাতলা, চ্যাপ্টা টুকরো যা ভেঙে পড়ে, যেমন: বরফের ফ্লাক, সিরিয়ালের ফ্লাক, অথবা শুকনো চামড়ার ফ্লাক।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

বেশিরভাগ সময় খাবারের ক্ষেত্রে ('corn flakes'), তুষার, বা ত্বকের শুকনো অংশ বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়। সিরিয়ালে সবসময় বহুবচনে ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'crumbs' বা 'chips' থেকে ভিন্ন; flakes সাধারণত পাতলা ও চ্যাপ্টা।
