Definition

「fits」は、何かがサイズ的にぴったり合う、適している、または体が健康であることを表します。

「it fits」でサイズが合う、「this fits the situation」で状況に合う。服の場合は体型にぴったりという意味。「suit」「match」とは意味が違うので注意。

This shirt fits me well.
