Definition

暖炉とは、部屋を暖めたりくつろいだ雰囲気を作るために、壁に作られた火を焚くための設備です。

昔ながらの木の暖炉や現代的なガス・電気式暖炉、どちらも「暖炉」と呼びます。「暖炉のそばに座る」など、温かさやくつろぎのイメージで使います。
