Definition

কারও আঙুলে যা থাকে, সেই বিশেষ লাইন ও দাগ যা কোন কিছুর উপর ছাপ পড়ে থাকে এবং এর মাধ্যমে মানুষকে শনাক্ত করা যায়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

সাধারণত বহুবচন 'fingerprints' বেশি ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'leave fingerprints', 'take fingerprints', 'fingerprint scanner' ইত্যাদি একসাথে শিখুন। শুধু বুড়ো আঙুলের ছাপ 'thumbprint' বলে।
