Definition

羽は鳥の体を覆う柔らかくて軽い部分です。また、羽に似た形のものや装飾にも使われます。

通常は数えられる名詞で、「a feather」「feathers」と使います。「鳥の羽」「羽毛枕」「羽のように軽い」などの表現があります。「毛皮（fur）」や「翼（wing）」と混同しないようにしましょう。
