かすかな気絶する

Definition

「faint」は、とても弱い・かすかな音や匂い、線など、はっきりしないものに使います。また、突然短時間気を失うことも表します。

形容詞の場合、「sound」「smell」「hope」「line」「heartbeat」とよく組み合わせて使います。動詞の場合は「faint from/after～」の形で使われ、会話では「pass out」もよく使います。「feint（フェイント＝フェイク動作）」とは異なります。

I heard a faint sound in the next room.

隣の部屋から**かすかな**音が聞こえました。

There is a faint smell of smoke here.

ここには**かすかな**煙のにおいがします。

She felt sick and almost fainted.

彼女は気分が悪くて、もう少しで**気絶しそう**だった。
