Definition

「faculties」とは、人の考える力や見る・聞く力などの生まれつきの能力を指します。また、大学の「学部」という意味もあります。

フォーマルな場面でよく使われ、特に複数形で能力や感覚を表します（例：「facultiesを失う」）。大学の「学部」としても用いられます。「faculty（教員）」とは区別しましょう。
