Definition

派閥とは、より大きな集団の中で特定の意見や利益を持つ小さな組織されたグループのことです。主に政治や団体内の内部分裂に使われます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に政治や組織内で使われ、友人グループなどカジュアルな場面では使いません。'rival factions（対立派閥）'のように使われます。「fiction（フィクション）」と混同しないように注意。
