Definition

引き渡しは、犯罪を犯した疑いのある人や有罪判決を受けた人を、犯罪が起きた国に送還する法的手続きです。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

『引き渡し』や『身柄引き渡し』は主に法律や政府関連の場面で使われます。「引き渡し条約」「引き渡しを求める」のような表現が一般的です。日常会話ではあまり使われません。
