'expose something to sunlight/risk'は「～を日光や危険にさらす」の意味。'expose the truth/a lie/a scandal'は「真実や嘘、スキャンダルを暴く」という強いニュアンス。健康の文脈では「さらされる（be exposed to）」がよく使われる。
