Definition

“Expiration”指某物不再有效、好用或可用的期限結束，例如食品、藥品或證件過期。醫學上也可指呼氣，但“到期”這個意思更常見。

Usage Notes (Chinese (Traditional))

多用於正式或技術場合，例如“expiration date”（到期日）。日常講話很少用於指呼氣。不要和“inspiration”（吸氣/靈感）混淆。
