表示某事物是真實的，或存在於世界上、某個地方或某種情況中。它用來說明某物確實有、在場、可取得，或某件事確實會發生。

Usage Notes (Chinese (Traditional))

這是一個中性偏正式的動詞，在書面語和較仔細、正式的表達中更常見，在日常對話中反而沒那麼常用。日常英語裡，人們常用 'there is/are'、'have' 或 'be' 來替代：例如說 'Unicorns don't exist'，但說 'There is a problem'。常見搭配有 'exist in nature'、'exist between A and B'、'exist only in theory'。
