Definition

公平とは、人々を公平に扱うことです。また、ビジネスや不動産では、所有している価値や株式を指します。

ビジネスでは『equity』は株式・所有権を表し、社会的な場面では「公平」という意味で使います。「equality（平等）」とは異なります。物件の場合、『equity』はローンを差し引いた価値です。
