Usage Notes (Japanese)

日常やフォーマルな会話で使われ、苦痛や困難を長く耐えるときに使います（'endure hardship', 'endure pain'）。'tolerate' よりも継続的な忍耐を表します。'endure for years', 'unable to endure', 'endure the test of time' のように使います。
