「ends」は名詞で何かの両端や最後の部分を指します。動詞では「終わる」という意味の三人称単数形です。

名詞の場合「both ends」「at the ends」などの言い回しで使われます。動詞としては「映画が終わる」「授業が終わる」などによく使います。単数形のendとは区別しましょう。
