通常は数えられない名詞です。'electricity'の前に冠詞をつけません。'generate electricity'（電気を発生させる）、'use electricity'（電気を使う）、'the electricity went out'（停電した）、'an electricity bill'（電気代）などで使います。'electric'や'electrical'とは使い方が異なります。
