効果影響エフェクト（映画や音楽の）

Definition

何かが原因で生じた結果や変化、影響のこと。映画や音楽などで加えられる特別な音や映像も指す。

複数形で使うと、さまざまな結果や影響を指す（“the effects of stress”, “side effects”など）。“special effects”は映画などの決まった表現。'effect'（名詞）と'affect'（動詞）は間違えやすいので注意。

The medicine has some side effects.

この薬には副**作用**（**効果**）がある。

We studied the effects of rain on the plants.

雨が植物に与える**影響**を調べました。

The movie's special effects were amazing.

その映画の特別**効果**（**エフェクト**）はすごかったです。
