الحواف هي الخطوط أو الحدود حيث ينتهي الشيء، أو الجوانب الحادة لجسم ما. يمكن أن تشير إلى حدود مادية أو مجازية.

عادةً يُستخدم 'edges' بالجمع عند الحديث عن أكثر من جانب أو حد. تعبيرات شائعة: 'sharp edges' (حواف حادة)، 'edges of the table' (حواف الطاولة)، 'rough around the edges' (غير مكتمل بعد). لا تخلطها مع 'corner' (زاوية) أو 'side' (جانب).
