Definition
物や場所の一番外側の部分や端、またはナイフなどの鋭い部分を指します。競争などでの優位性を表すこともあります。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
「the edge of the table」「the edge of the cliff」といった物理的な端、「sharp edge」は刃物の鋭い部分に使います。「have an edge over」は競争での優位を表します。
