Definition

“Du” 是德語等語言裡表示“你”（非正式、單數）的一種形式，用於和熟人或朋友說話。英文裡不存在，但語言學習中常作對比參考。

英文裡'singular/plural'和'正式/非正式'都用'you'，但德語等語言區分：與熟人用'du'，正式場合用'Sie'。學習這些語言時需注意場合和對象的不同稱呼。
