Definition

「drifts」は、ゆっくりと方向やコントロールなく動くこと、または雪や砂などが積もることを表します。船や心、においなどにも使います。

主に船や風、人の心などの制御できないゆっくりとした動き、また「snow drifts」は雪の吹きだまりを指します。「drives」と混同しないように注意。「wanders」よりも硬めの表現です。
