कमरों या इमारतों के प्रवेश स्थान, जहाँ दरवाजे लगे होते हैं, या वह जगह जहाँ से अंदर जाते हैं।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

‘Doorways’, ‘doorway’ का बहुवचन है। अकसर भौतिक प्रवेश द्वारों के लिए प्रयोग होता है, लेकिन कभी-कभी रूपक में भी (जैसे नए अवसर)। सामान्य उपयोग में ‘stand in the doorway’, ‘dark doorway’, ‘narrow doorway’ आते हैं।
