マスクや酸素タンクなどの器材を使って水中で泳いだり、作業したり、スポーツとして潜る人。海を探検したり、競技会に参加したりもする。

'ダイバー'は英語の'diver'の複数形で、例えば「スキューバダイバー」や「プロのダイバー」などの表現で使います。「様々な」とは無関係です。
