कुछ चीज़ों को नियोजित तरीके से लोगों या स्थानों के समूह को देना। इसका अर्थ किसी क्षेत्र में चीजें फैलाना भी हो सकता है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

औपचारिक और अनौपचारिक दोनों संदर्भों में प्रचलित। आमतौर पर 'distribute flyers' (पर्चे बाँटना), 'distribute food' (खाना बाँटना)। 'deliver' (पहुंचाना) या 'share' (बांटना) से न मिलाएं। भौतिक वस्तुओं और कार्यों, जिम्मेदारियों आदि के लिए भी उपयोग होता है।
