권위 있는 사람이 내린 명령이나 규칙을 따르지 않는 것.

부모, 교사, 법 등 권위자와 관련해 자주 쓰이며, 과거형임; ‘ignored’(무시하다)와 달리 규칙을 알고도 지키지 않을 때 사용한다.
