এটি একটি আনুষ্ঠানিক শব্দ, যেমন দলের ভেতরের গভীর সমস্যা বা সমাজের মধ্যে উত্তেজনার ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহার হয়। 'sow discord' বলতে বোঝায় কারও মধ্যে কলহ লাগানো। ছোট-খাটো কথাকাটাকাটির জন্য ব্যবহার হয় না।
