Definition

किसी दूसरे व्यक्ति से अलग राय रखना, या यह मानना कि कोई बात सही, सच या उचित नहीं है। इसका प्रयोग तब भी होता है जब दो चीजें मेल न खाएँ या एक जैसी न हों।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

इसके सामान्य पैटर्न हैं 'disagree with someone', 'disagree about something' और 'disagree on something'। इसका लहजा सामान्य और तटस्थ है। बातचीत में 'I don't agree' अक्सर 'I disagree' से थोड़ा नरम लगता है। इसका प्रयोग रिपोर्ट, आँकड़ों या बयानों के मेल न खाने के लिए भी हो सकता है, लेकिन यह प्रयोग कम आम है।
