道順や指示は、何かのやり方や目的地への行き方を教えるものです。また、物の向きや進む方向を表す場合もあります。

'ask for directions' は道をたずねるとき、'give directions' は案内する場合。道順には複数形が一般的。説明書やレシピで使うことが多い。単数形 'direction' は向きや方向を指す。
