何かを一時的に液体や柔らかいものに浸してすぐ出すこと。少し下がることや、食べ物をつけるためのソースも指す。

"dip into"はお茶や水、ペンキに使うことが多いです。「prices dipped」は少し下がること、「cheese dip」は食べ物用ソースを指します。動作は短時間や軽い行為を表します。
